This lot is located in Chicago.
Condition
The tapestry was probably originally in a different frame, there is extra overhang of the tapestry visible from the back. Frame and tapestry both from 19th century. Heavy flaking of the gilt throughout the frame. Tapestry is somewhat loose within the frame but overall the whole is sturdy and can be hung. Tapestry is very dusty and would benefit from cleaning. There is a very small streak of possibly residue with a lighter color near the bottom. Additional images are available upon request.
